摘要

In summary, I hope I have highlighted today that the design criteria for a complete packaging system are diverse and challenging. The environmental and regulatory requirements are becoming significantly more important and will continue to do so in the coming years. These will force a move towards reusable packaging systems. We have seen that current systems have their limitation and all present some compromise of the design requirements. The tray system offers a technical solution to many of the problems encountered and delivers a high quality rubber product and cost estimates show the system to be economically favourable.
