摘要

During the construction of Baosteel for more than ten years, Baosight has developed its own MES techniques (BS-MES), which has widely been used in many engineering projects. In this paper, the application of BS-MES in NO.1 Steel Co. of Shanghai Baosteel Group (simply called Shanghai No.1)is introduced, including project background, system architecture, major functions accomplished, and the characteristics etc., and some key techniques of BS-MES are discussed as well. The benefits about application of MES are also briefly estimated.
