摘要

The current research is mainly intended towards the investigation of the remaining safe lifetime of the life cycle of the structures including cracks and defects. In order to investigate the validity of repairing and strengthening such these structures and to make a comparison between the importance of the remaining safe life time after repairing and the total cost of the repairing process. In that case we can decide and take the right decision for repairing of rebuilding processes. The study is focused mainly on the structures which contain cracks and defects. Depending on this study, the lifetime of the structures can be controlled as much as possible with the attempting of extending its safe life for using. The study is intended with the various types of defects regarding the effect of loading type. The study depends on the mechanical analysis and mechanics of the structures including cracks. The structure in this case should be analyzed using the fracture mechanics science which only can deal with the cracked structures.
