Through the analysis on four chiller system combinations selected, this paper lays stress on the comparison of full-load and part-load performance of chiller systems, which are combined by centrifugal chillers, and single-compressor or multi-compressor screw chillers. It also points out that the optimum combination of chiller system should be selected according to the actual building load profile, and brings up the concept of System Part Load Value (SPLV) which should be studied in future.
