In recent years, electrical prospecting technique is widely used in reservoir dam hidden trouble examination, and has obtained the amazing result. This article take the Guojiacun reservoir dam as an example, introduced the application of charge method and high density electrical technique in prospecting reservoir dam leakage hidden trouble. It also thoroughly elaborated the function of this technique to reservoir dam leakage hidden trouble appraisal. It used charge method to mensurate plane distributing scope and infiltrate belt position of leakage hidden trouble, used high density electrical technique to find out its vertical distribution. Unify two methods may determine the leakage hidden trouble space position, provide the instruction to the drilling exploration and the seepage computation, avoid the blindness of drilling exploration, make the choice of seepage computation parameter more exactly and increase the reliability of transfusion security appraisal greatly.
