摘要

Several experiments were performed to investigate the behavior of species formation during the electrolysis of water containing microorganisms like Bacillus subtilis, Escherichia coli or Saccharomyces cerevisiae. Active chlorine, total chlorine, ozone and hydrogen peroxide were detected in dependence on chloride concentration and cell current in non-divided cells. Modified iridium oxide coated titanium anodes, platinum and diamond electrodes were used. With the help of a rotating electrode arrangement optimal hydrodynamic conditions could be found. Humic acid served as a model substance for AOX and TXM formation study. An effective reaction order of 3 was calculated for the reaction of active chlorine with humic acid.
