摘要

The electrochemical oxidation of aspirin~(~R) in water has been investigated. The product of the hydrolysis of aspirin~(~R) is salicylic acid. With different concentration between 20 to 200 mg/l these products were electrolysed in a standard three-electrode cell using two different anodes (smooth platinum and promoted carbon fibre), within a current range of 25-50 mA/cm~2. Methylen blue tests have shown, that the biological availability of the oxidation products considerably increases up to 80-100%, when the electrolysis duration is more than two hours. Using the potentiodynamic method the areas of the adsorption potentials of aspirin and salicylic acid oxidation have been determined. It could be observed, that the promoted carbon fibre electrode showed the same catalytic activity to the electro chemical oxidation of the salicylic acid as the smooth platinum electrode.
