摘要

The new technology proposed by SEVA Technologies is a technological rupture making a response to the expectations of people involved in car safety:On technical point of view:1. Gases are clean, non-toxic and non-inflammable, their speed leaving the inflator is low,2. So that a light uncoated bag could be used.3. Therefore, the kinetic energy of the bag is drastically reduced, its aggressiveness and also the level of noise during the deployment is lowered.On economical point of view:1. The inflators are easily tunable and development costs are reduced.2. The design is simple and robust.3. For the industrialization, all the parts of the airbag generator are well known, and already exist in airbag industry.4. Production line is easily flexible.In term of image for the final customer: Safer for safety application:1. The absence of dust and a lower noise level contribute to decrease the anxiety and the feeling of losing control of the car driver in case of bag deployment.2. With a light bag, risks are minimized in case of people out of position.3. The delivered gases are namely oxygen and nitrogen, so this inflator is the first real AIR bag!
