Spreading and redox properties of molecular and thin-solid films of 2-ferrocenylfulleropyrrolidine dyad were investigated. Spreading behavior of the dyad in Langmuir films was dependent on pH of the subphase aqueous solution; aggregation occurred for a neutral subphase. Simultaneous cyclic voltammetry and piezoelectric microgravimetry at an electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance of the dyad in the Langmuir-Blodgett films, transferred onto Au-quartz crystal vibrators, indicated that stability with respect to dissolution and electrochemical properties of the films depend on the nature of cation of the supporting electrolyte.
