On the basis of the phenomenological equation for multi-potential fields, which is derived according to the general rule of energy, momentum and mass transport law, the field influence factor of energy transfer coefficient is defined to evaluate the contribution of each field to the change in energy transfer coefficient. This concept is used in energy transfer analysis of heavy oil thermal driving process, it delineates the composition of drive resistance and its acting mechanism.
