Most texts made up of passages are unstructured in subject and semi-structured in style. As a decision-maker of SARS emergency management, he hopes to get some subject passages that exist in different texts. Thus texts need to be structured in subject. In this paper we propose a structuring text method for the extraction of the subject knowledge in SARS emergency management system. Using the method, users can get all knowledge passages, diagrams and tables related to his requirements from all full texts. So it is more suitable for the emergency management.
