摘要

The new procedure of the wood viscoelasticity evaluation is described. The method of the Hopkinson Split Pressure Bar has been used. This procedure uses specimen of a relatively small size. The experimental results have been obtained for the following wood species : Birch, Pine, Spruce, Lime tree, Elm, Alder, Walnut, Oak, Larch, Beech, Plum tree, False acacia and Ash. It has been found that the deformation behaviour of these woods may be described using of the standard linear body.
