@@Changing interfacial interaction of the thin film by using solvent vapor treatment has been turned out to be an effective method to manipulate microstructure of block copolymer thin films in the past decades.1 In this report, we explore the microstructure of the H-shaped block copolymer (a poly(ethylene glycol) backbone and polystyrene branches, i.e., (PS)2PEG(PS)2) thin film annealed in saturated solvent vapor. Ring-shaped morphology is observed as the film is annealed in PEG-affinitive acetonitrile solvent vapor. Figure 1 displays the morphological evolution of the H-shaped (PS)2PEG(PS)2 copolymer film after exposed to the saturated acetonitrile vapor at 15℃ for different time. Cylindrical morphology forms in the pristine spincoated film (Figure 1a). After exposed to the acetonitrile vapor for 2h, ring-shaped structure appears at the continuous portion of the film (Figure 1b).
