Creep curves of W bearing 9Cr martensitic steels were analysed by the so-called Omega method. From these results, availability of the method and physical meanings of parameters are discussed. Parameter Ω had the maximum in a certain stress range in steels. It is suggested that Ω has the same physical meaning as the stress exponent of creep rate, i.e., the creep deformation mechanism changes in the vicinity of the maximum of Ω.
