In this chapter, an agent-based approach to complex systems modeling is proposed. The requirement for complex systems modeling techniques is increasing in order to plan a safe, secure and reliable society, because more recently, most systems are becoming complex. This chapter describes agent-based clustering and an expression of the character of the obtained clusters. Each agent has a role to collect data points (objects) based on similarity, which is defined so that each agent can treat a mixed database. The interaction between the agents focuses on discussing the objects to consider all the attributes. The agent identifies an if-then rule based on the collected data and tries to determine variables for rule description. There is no objective function differing from the conventional mining methods, however, by taking this approach, there are some advantage points of the proposed method. One of the advantages is that it is not necessary to determine the number of the clusters before performing the process.
