S: In this paper, a scaled-projectile designed with 90W-7Ni-3Fe alloy is applied to impact A3 steel targets and numerical simulation is developed. The results of simulation agreed with tests have accurately indicated the procedure of projectile variation, and the dynamic information of projectile, such as contours of effective stress and negative acceleration plots, is achieved during the interactive of projectiles and targets. Importantly, it is very beneficial to use simulation methods for PE missile designer.
