Through the hard work in the past 30 years, now kinds of polyester and fiber equipment can be local provided, the production capacity in China occupy first place in the world. The development process that regard equipment as the centrality has been finished. We enter into the overall industrial upgrade new stage. In China the total output of chemical fiber was 16,920 kt in 2005,in which the PET fiber output was 12,830 kt, occupied more than70%. We have advantage in output, but the raw material price is raising, the selling price is dropping, the enterprise loss is large, the profit is low. PET and fiber industry is faced with the important stage of industrial structural readjustment. Along with the development of new fiber, new material, various high added value product, functional product and industrial textile, new requirements on equipment are put forward. Higher hopes are placed on it.
