The winner determination problem in multi-attribute reverse auction is modeled as an evaluation problem of comparative performance of bidders or suppliers who (from a buyer's view) convert only one input (i.e., price) into multiple outputs or attributes (such as lead time and quality). Thus, DEA approach can be used to select the winner. Two supper-efficiency DEA models (the CRS and VRS super-efficiency DEA models) and the corresponding five selection criteria are suggested and used to select the winner. Some advantages and disadvantages of the two models are named. An numerical example is given to illustrate the proposed approach and the results based on the five selection criteria are compared.
