An investigation of the optical thickness of the aerosol surrounded in the Suvranabhumi airport area using the local constructed sun-photometer is reported. The measurement data obtained are presented comparing to the ones obtained by the standard sun-photometer, where the measurement error of 5 % is obtained. The measurement was implementedrnwithin a three months period, starting from November 1th, 2006. The optical thickness obtained of 0.45 is noted, which is described in term of air quality as transparent view. Such effects may be introduced by the airplane fuel waste, infrastructure constructions and industrial estates. Further, the effects of the climate changes and global warming around the investigated area, and wireless communication link degradation are discussed.
