The rising level of silt deposit in the river course of estuary causes serious feedback on the river courses on the lower reach of a river. To tackle the problem, it is sensible to perform man - made perturbation in the river course of estuary to bring about the suspension transportation of the silt and sludge sediment so as to transport them into the sea by making full use of the water flow. It is aimed to lower the elevation of the estuary river course and empower the river course in the lower reach to handle more floods. Compared with the other river course silt reduction methods, the method of man - made silt perturbation and transportation is strongly featured with higher efficiency and lower cost.
