The investigates of valley ditch characters indicates, that there are 6,448 ditches whose length is 0.5 ～ 1 km, 3,845 ditches whose length is 1 ～ 3 km in whole river valley. A great number of these ditches assume "U" model. The resources of setting up dam enrich. Their developmental potential is great. This paper via the on - site inspection analyses the engineering layout and developmental foreground of the WuDing river valley and provides decision - making foundation with water and soil conservation ecosystem environmental construction of the river valley.
