摘要

"Flow and sediment regulation based on disturbance" was carried out in LYR in 2004. Researchers of Yellow River Institute of Hydraulic Research redemonstrated the process of flow and sediment regulation of Xiaolangdi reservoir by physical model of Xiaolangdi—Susizhuang reach. They observed the river regime, water level, erosion -deposition distribution, change and adjustment of sediment concentration; and analyzed the similarity by contrasting with the field data. And therefore, the model experiment technique was improved. The result proved that the model not only could simulate river regime evolution of prototype stream, the general rule of sediment transportation and the erosion - deposition characteristic under different flow condition, and also could reflect the general rule of longitudinal, lateral deformation of the riverbed of meandering reaches in LYR.
