There are no more timely topics than cyber security. In our less than perfect, and certainly less than secure world, we find ourselves in nothing short of a war with the neer-do-wells of this world. In some cases, these individuals are interested in nothing more than a challenge. On the darker side, there are people who mean to do us harm, for political, personal, religious or otherwise unpredictable reasons. We must protect ourselves. Considerable efforts have been expended by individuals, corporations government and associations to help us protect ourselves. An example of which is the recent FERC Order1 extending CIP coverage to nuclear power plants.
