The progress of business management is bound to follow the rapid advance in technology, and advanced production and management methodologies have close ties with information technology, which gives us a good deal of useful enlightenment. In this paper, the action of information in management is introduced first, then several advanced management methodologies based on information technology are discussed, and at last, a few of proposals concerning the application of information technology in business management are given.
