摘要

The water boiler relying on the two-step catalytic oxidation of natural gas has been developed. At the first step, natural gas is partially oxidized to synthesis gas. At the second step, synthesis gas is completely oxidized in catalytic heat exchanger to CO_2 and H_2O and the released heat is absorbed by water. The boiler prototype has been manufactured and tested. The catalytic boiler provides almost zero emission of CO and NO_x in the combustion products and ～94% efficiency of water heating.
