This paper introduces a concept of a new public transport information system, which is a bus,rnbus stop and center system with information exchange, comprising data collecting,rncommunication, signal processing, and display units to exchange bus and bus-stoprninformation with center or other users. In the system, a bus or a stop sends collected data torncenter, which processes the data, and distributes information in appropriate format torndestination bus stop, bus, mobile phone, and other terminals. The system can be used forrnpublic transport information collecting and distribution, urban public transport management,rnand long-distance passenger transport management.
