Local flame structures of the turbulent premixed flame are discussed. The study is based on the hydrogen transport near the flame front using DNS data of three-dimensional H_2-air turbulent premixed flame under the condition of u'/S_L = 1.74 and l/δ_L = 2.00. In DNS, a detailed kinetic mechanism including 12 reactive species and 27 elementary reactions was used to represent the H_2-air reaction in turbulence. In a turbulent flow, the convection and diffusion effects on the hydrogen transport near the flame front depend on the curvature of the flame front. The convection effect is enhanced for the flame elements convex toward the burnt side, whereas the diffusion effect becomes dominant for the flame elements convex toward the unburned side.
