摘要

There are many disadvantages when measuring artificially gas density using optical interference fringe gas meter. The paper gives out a new method to recognize the interference fringe image by computer, so that the gas density can be measured automatically. A recognition method based on projection was invented. It firstly introduces the recognition principle, then describes in detail the gray scaling, thresholding and projecting to the image. At last the advantages of the method are talked about briefly.
