This work deals with the biogeographic analysis fo th amphipacific distribution of lichens. The amphipacific disribution comprises Eastern Asian-Eastern North American pattern, Himalayan-Japanese-mexican pattern, and Wastern African-Javanese-Columbian pattern ect. The taxonomic revision of some species and genera concerning the amphipacific distribution is made. The expansion of a narrow canal, the ancient paific Ocean, could be an important reason for formation of the disjunctive distribution.
