In order to control pest effectively by use of an entomogenous fungus, Beauveria bassiana, a good understanding on physiological mehcanisms and ecological traits of B.bassiana is needed. In the present paper, population dynamics of B.bassiana surviving in pine plantations and in soil and survival mechanism were studied in detail.
