threshold setting methods for serial search acquisition ofnfrequency-hopping waveforms are considered. A reference channel detectorn(RCD) is proposed which shows considerable immunity with respect both tonchanges in signal dynamics and pulse jamming, as opposed to the constantnand adaptive threshold setting procedures reported previously. Thenperformance of the RCD scheme is evaluated and compared to that of thenconventional detectors. The results prove the significantly highernrobustness of the RCD
