Abstract: In this study, external cavity laser diode has beenmodeled and non-linear equations of system are beingsolved by using Volterra series. In the study,linearized laser diodes rate equations are reorganizedfor external cavity and these equations are solved withharmonic input method using Volterra series. Thetransfer functions brought about for harmonics areobtained using Volterra-Weiner series approach. Thestability analysis of system is compared from output toinput using these transfer functions. Nyquist stabilitycriteria have been used in the analysis.!15
