摘要

The oxygen quenching of aromatic hydrocarbon excited states was studied with emphasis on the mechanisms of the quenching processes in the vapor phase. The changes in decay rates and intensities of laser-induced fluorescence and delayed fluorescence with the O_2 pressure growth were determined. The relationships between k_q and the photophysical parameters of molecules as well as the changes in the free energy for intermolecular full electron transfer (ΔG_(et)) were analyzed for gas-phase systems under study.
