Mastering the stake of competitiveness is a very complex process that consists of setting up the key factors of competitiveness. It also deals with examining the way companies (relying on strategies they previously established and applied) "assemble", organize and coordinate these factors, thus developing their competitive abilities to improve the economic performance. The globalization trend of the tourist market has transformed the internal market - foreign market relationship in an essential means of integration that ensures certain current and mutual fluxes of some quality products, sales and services to consumers and end users, which is why companies should use their energy and resources to advance the current conditions of competition. Like any other market, the tourist market has its own competition rules and hierarchy of factors that contribute more or less to the competitive position and the competitive advantage. Compared with other countries in the region, in the process of transformation and adaptation of the economic mechanisms and structures to the requirements of the European tourist market, Romania has to accomplish numerous changes to become competitive in tourism, to acquire new methods and forms of organization, able to make the best of Romania's tourism potential
