摘要

The problem of city and motorway traffic flow simulation is considered in the paper. The existing basic concepts are briefly reviewed. Original 2D macro- and microscopic models of multilane traffic are developed to predict flows for the real road geometry. The macroscopic model of synchronized traffic flow uses the continuum approach, it is similar to the quasi-gas-dynamic (QGD) system of equations. The microscopic model is based on the cellular automata theory. Test predictions demonstrate good agreement of the models in both qualitative and quantitative sense.
