摘要

In this work the influence of mechanical alloying on the liquid phase sintering of a 2xxxrnaluminum alloy is studied. Mechanical alloying is a solid state processing technique wherernby means of welding and fracturing processes, the morphology of the powder particles isrnmodified. The surface of the powder is improved, resulting in improved liquid phasernsintering through liquid diffusion. In this work, the influence of Sn and TiCN on the liquidrnphase is also studied.
