摘要

The regulation of space environment characteristics is necessary, first of all, for determination of the impact of such factors as ionizing and solar radiation, atomic oxygen, etc., on the space system elements and, of course, on the material properties. It is impossible to reproduce exactly the space environment at on-ground tests of space system elements because of variety and complexity of different impact factors. The reliability of the test results depends on adequate simulation. So, the simulation of the space factors is a bridge between the space environment characteristics and space engineering reliability. In the frames of the ISO activities we start development of international standard set for a space environment simulation at on-ground tests of materials. Now we propose a draft of an international standard "Space Environment Simulation for Radiation Tests of Materials". It was presented at ISO TC20/SC14 meeting in Los-Angeles, USA, 1997.
