It is a very difficult problem to detect the status of cement rotary stove in cement plant. By now there is no effective method to get the internal status of rotary stove. This infrared CCD thermovision and computer detecting system is designed to detect the internal status of cement rotary stove. The system can display not only the status of cement rotary stove on both industrial monitor and CRT, but also the computer processing results of the internal status information of cement rotary stove. The computer processing results can also be sent to control system or control network as the detected signal. If it is needed, the status image can be transmitted with the computer processing result in LAN. This infrared CCD imaging device has been worked well in Tian Jin cement plant from 1997 till now.
