The Sequential Function Chart (SFC), defined in the international standard IEC1131-3 as a common element of languages of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC), can explicitly represent the sequence of control programs. Describing the actual problem by SFC and transforming it to ladder diagram (LD) can efficiently work out readable PLC programs in short time. Some rules, described in this paper, can make it easily to convert the SFC to LD.
