Because HEV is composed of engine and motor, torque distribution between engine and motorrnmust be required. Motor is used a torque assistor when system demands high power in case of fullrnacceleration or climbing ramp. Thus, torque control must be required in HEV. The precise controlrnof internal permanent magnet synchronous motor (IPMSM) is difficult because of its nonlinearrnrelation between torque and currents. In this work, a new approach using the current referencerngenerator based on 2-dimensional map is proposed. This approach can realize both precise torquerncontrol and suitable field weakening of IPMSM required for HEV application.
