We demonstrate a flexible color electrophoretic display by means of a direct color filter which is formed onto the electrophoretic film laminated on thin film transistor panel without color filter substrate. A direct color filter coating technology is adapted for our prototype to be fabricated as a B5-sized panel. It shows bendable, paper -like look as well as excellent quality display.
