Henan is in the central part of China. It has been the cultural center and political center of China since ancient times. Although from 1840 Henan was thrown behind by the other parts of China, the prosperity of ancient times has left Henan with a lot of cultural legacy. And Henan has a lot of beautiful rivers and mountains, so Henan's tourism resources are abundant. The characteristics of Henan's tourism resources can be summarized as the following five points: firstly, ancient. It means Henan culture is an ancient culture. There are a lot of ancient cultural relics in Henan province. Secondly, Huanghe. It means Henan's many tourist attractions are along the Huanghe River, such as Luoyang, Zhengzhou, Sanmenxia, and so on. Thirdly, Wushu. It means Shaolin boxing which is the representative of Henan Wushu and China Wushu has gone out to all of the world and become the symbol of Chinese culture. Fourthly, roots. It means Henan is the root of Chinese people, and Henan culture is the root culture of the Chinese nation. Fifthly, flower. It means Luoyang peony, which is the highlight of Henan tourism resources. Although Henan has abundant tourism resources, there are some shortcomings such as blind development, construction duplication, money waste and resources destruction, which lead to the small scale and low level of Henan tourism industry in general. We need an integration of tourism resources.
