Waveguide fed planar slot arrays employ resonant slots to couple power from the main waveguide to crossed branch waveguides A centered-inclined slot located on the common broad wall is the most widely used coupling slot. Power coupled into the branch waveguide is controlled by the magnitude of the tilt angle, θ with respect to the longitudinal axis of the main line.
