A fully implicit numerical model, which describes thepermeability decrease caused by the silica depositionin porous medium, has been formulated and appliedto simulate the filed data. The rate constants of silicadeposition used in calculations were based on theSteefel and Lasaga, Tester et al., and Carroll et al.Correlations. A reasonable match was obtainedbetween the measured and calculated dimensionlesspermeability and water levels.
