Oxygen has become the feed gas of choice for ozone generation. Oxygen is used to lower the cost of ozone produced and to obtain higher ozone concentrations. Three modes of oxygen supply, liquid oxygen, cryogenic oxygen generation and noncryogenic oxygen generation are presented, discussing their advantages and disadvantages relative to ozone generation. Each oxygen supply option is acceptable for ozone generation. THe main factor for selecting the proper oxygen supply method is economic considerations b ased on the volume of oxygen required.
