A pilot study was undertaken at the Snowbird Ski Resort in Utah to evaluate the feasibilith of employing ozone as an alternative to chlorine and sulfur dixodie for oxidation of iron and mangancese in groundwater. Ozonation was also tested for the removal of lead and cadmium, occurring at concentrations exceeding drinking water Maximum Contaminant levels.
