In the TV Bulb production line of our plant, which is introduced from Corning Inc. America, the programmable logic controller (PLC 2/30) produced by AB company in America is used for press control. This controller is flexible in programing, easy to operate and its reliability is high. We tapped the potentialities of the PLC and made many improvement in Press control. For example, for the synchronism of Funnel Press and Button Sealing Machine; To add error tolerance so as to reduce the blindness of maintenance; In order to meet the requirement of high temperature environment for hot pressing , use the time sequence control to replace the location control, in turn to reduce the amount of electronic components used in high temperature. Those improvement are all good for reducing the frequence of equipment trouble and raising the economic prefit.
