Coal particles are separated into low density particles with low ash content and high density particles with high ash content in fluidized particles that we call "Dry heavy media ". In this paper, we proposed a new effective dry coal cleaning process using dry heavy media. The performance of this process was investigated in the fundamental experiments and the continuous experiments.
