To experimentally investigate the internal flow structure of steam-water boiling two-phase flow, the 2x2 and 3x3 square channels were constructed and local two-phase flow parameters were measured. Instrumentations are the two-conductivity probe to measure local vapor parameters and the Pitot tube to measure the local liquid para meters. Using the probes, the distribut ions of phasic velocities and void fractions are measured simultaneously in the steam-water boiling flow. In the experiments, the void fraction is smoothly decayed out from the surface of the heating rod to channel center in subcool ed boiling without the wall void peaking observed in the air-water experi ments. The distribution of local interfacial area concentration coincides with that of local void fraction for a given area-averaged void fraction.
