摘要

A study of the effects of percent binder fiber and web weight on the physical properties of thermally bonded carded nonwoven fabric for electrical insulation is presented. Fabric properties tested include breaking load, breaking elongation, thoughness, stiffness, thickness compression energy recover energy, compression resilience, specific clo, air permeability and dimensional stability. Statistical analyses were performed on all of the data from various nonwovens produced, including three blend levels of polyester fibers (Celbond K-54 binder fiber / Hollofil 808 filling fiber) and the three web weights.
